วันนี้ก็ได้ทดลอง extend screen บน Ubuntu 7.10 [ Gutsy ] นะครับ ซึ่งทำบนโน๊คบุ๊ค ที่ใช้ไดรเวอร์การ์ดจอของ Intel 945GM ครับ ซึ่งในตอนแรกนั้น ใช้ไดรเวอร์ที่ระบบตั้งให้ ก็คือ Intel - Experimental Mode Driver ครับ ซึ่งทีแรกก็สงสัยว่า ทำไมไม่สามารถเชื่อมต่อจออีกอัน ในโหมด Extend Secondary Screen ได้ ... ทำได้แต่แบบ Mirror หรือที่ใช้แสดงออกสู่โปรเจคเตอร์นั่นเอง

ก็ลองมั่วๆ โดยเปลี่ยนไดรเวอร์ให้เป็นของ i810 - Intel Integrated Graphics ดู ปรากฏว่า สามารถคลิกปุ่ม Extend Secondary Screen ได้ ...

ถ้าใครตามข่าว IT อยู่ตอนนี้อาจจะเคยได้ยินข่าวลือว่า Google อาจจะทำมือถือออกมาขายบ้าง แต่ว่าเมื่อไม่กี่วันมานี้ Google ได้ประกาศออก Framework : Android ขึ้นมาซึ่งเป็นอะไรที่ผิดคาดพอสมควรโดยข้างในของ Android นั้นมีตั้งแต่ OS, Library, Framework, Software ที่ใช้ในการพัฒนา โดยจากรูปข้างล่างจะเห็นได้ว่าใช้ Linux kernel ซึ่งหมายความว่า Android นั้นเป็น OpenSource ทั้งหมด

ทีนี้หลายคนอาจสงสัยว่า Android นั้นใช้ภาษาอะไรในการพัฒนาซึ่งใช้กฎการเขียนแบบภาษา Java แต่ว่าข้างในนั้น Google พัฒนาเองเกือบทั้งหมด

ประเด็นต่อมาคือใครจะนำเอา Android ไปใช้ล่ะ ทาง Google ได้ชวนบริษัทต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวกับ mobile ทั้งหมดกว่า 34 บริษัท รวมตัวเป็น Open Handset Alliance ขึ้น ตัวอย่างบริษัทต่างๆ ที่ Google ชวนมา

วันนี้นั่งติดตั้ง DNS Server บน Fedora 7 ปรากฏว่า เจอปัญหา 2 ที่ด้วยกันครับ
1. ไม่มีไฟล์ named.root.hints  แก้โดย สร้างขึ้นมาเองครับ โดยมีเนื้อหาในไฟล์ ประมาณนี้

zone "." IN {
    type hint;
    file "named.ca";
};

2. DNS ไม่สามารถ Resolve จากภายนอกได้ ได้แต่ Localhost , Localnet ซึ่งแก้โดยแก้ไขค่าของ match-clients , match-destinations ในส่วนของ external view ให้เป็น any ครับ

    match-clients               { any; };
    match-destinations       { any; }
